![]() Charlie LaTourette Appointed as New Executive Director for the Foundation The Dental Foundation Board of Directors appointed Charlie LaTourette as the new executive director to replace Karleanne Rogers. Charlie has over 25 years experience in management and communications. He has worked in advertising and public relations firms in New York and Portland, and served for eleven years as the director of corporate communications for The ODS Companies. Prior to joining the dental foundation, he worked for three years with Employers for Education Excellence, a non-profit organization founded by the Oregon Business Council to advocate for improvement in Oregon's public education system. He lives in Tualatin with his wife, Cathy, and their two children, Neil and Nicole. Karleanne Rogers resigned her position as executive director of the Dental Foundation of Oregon in September to pursue a career in fundraising with The Thacher School. In her three years with DFO, Karleanne helped the Foundation focus its mission, develop a strong market imprint and begin a new era of direct service with the launch of the Tooth Taxi. All of us at the Foundation wish Karleanne well in her new position. Tooth Taxi — Improving Oral Health
